Radio-controlled traffic light systems TYPE COM/FA 1000, COM, or EURO 2000
The modern radio-controlled traffic light systems by FABEMA have modular control systems in different expansion classes. These systems for 12V battery operation are designed primarily as radio-controlled and traffic dependent lighting systems. However, they can also be operated as cabled traffic lights or quartz traffic lights. They comply with the regulations according to DIN VDE 0832 part 12 and the requirements of RiLSA 2010 and are tested in accordance with TL '97. They are programmed via the control panel, which comprises a film keyboard and a LCD display. Warning information and error messages are also output here in clear text. Programming via auxiliaries, such as a programming box or laptop is not needed and, according to RiLSA issue 2010 undesirable for construction site traffic lights. Instead, a user-friendly menu system supports the setting of the system and leads the user through the programming step by step. With all changes, the system remains in operation, so that the traffic flow is not interrupted. Only after completing reprogramming is the new data taken over and – provided the changes do not affect the basic configuration – accepted transparently.
The systems record traffic flows by means of radar traffic sensors, whose maximum range is 45 metres. These costly special sensors are mounted at the highest point of the signal unit, which means the detector can be aligned precisely on the traffic flow separately from the signal sensor.
The wireless modem assemblies meet our very high quality demands. They have a microcomputer-controlled data transfer system, short response times through high data transfer speeds, high fault security against outside interference by means of address coding and interference-resistant FFSK data transfer methods. The transmitting power is 100 mW.

Simple construction site lamps for one-way traffic, traffic-controlled, not expandable.
The FA series units are custom-made for everyday use on construction sites. They comprise a transmitter unit and a receiver unit for controlling one-way traffic, are uncomplicated and good value for money. Depending on the fittings, there is the option to operate the lights in cable, wireless or quartz mode.
With wireless and cable connection, you can select between three different response types to the traffic with the traffic control option:
Red wait position
Green wait position
The signal sensors are fitted with 12V 10 W halogen lamps or, with a surcharge, with 12V 3W LED lamp inserts.
WIRELESS LAMP SYSTEM Type "COM/FV"
Construction site lamp with transmitter/receiver unit for one way through to junction traffic.
It can be operated as a wireless lamp (COM/FR, COM/FV), cable lamp (COM/K, COM/KV) or quartz lamp (COM/Q).
This lamp is expandable; it is fitted with multi-frequency systems and automatic frequency changing and a digital field strength display.
The system offers five different response times for traffic control.
There are options for handheld wireless transmitters or an SMS fault message module.
Priority connection for bus/rail public transport is possible.
The COM series units are custom-made for everyday use on construction sites. They consist of a transmitter unit and up to three receiver units for controlling one-way traffic, T-junctions and crossroads. It is an uncomplicated yet versatile system.
Depending on the fittings, there is the option to operate the system in cable, wireless or quartz mode. It is wired as an open ring main from unit to unit, for which the sequence is insignificant (e.g. 1-4-2-3). A mixed form of wireless-cable operation is also possible. In quartz mode, the data is transferred with only a single time module, which is plugged successively into all lamps. With wireless and cable connection, you can select between five different response types to traffic with the traffic control option, in addition to fixed time control.

"EURO 2000" UNIVERSAL LAMP
All functions are interchangeable with this universal lamp. This professional system connects all functions in a single controller and can be expanded to complex tasks.
The new FABEMA generation of EURO 2000/FV lamps offers the extended options of a universal lamp system for one-way traffic control, expandable up to 8-phase crossing, with 8 main and 8 parallel signal sensors. The system can be partitioned; for example, from 6 EURO units, 2 T-junction or 3 one-way systems can be programmed.
The system offers up to 6 timed programmes with an additional weekend programme.
The EURO 2000 is robust and versatile; vehicle or pedestrian signal lamp settings - with or without monitoring - as well as special functions such as pedestrian requirement acknowledgement via a yellow lamp are programmable separately for each signal.
There is a controller for a parallel signal sensor in every unit, so that the head simply has to be plugged in if necessary. All units are identical and become transmitter and receiver only through programming. This is how the system can be partitioned: a crossing with six units can be changed without any difficulty into two independent T-junction systems or three one-way systems. Only a few entries are needed for this. Depending on the equipment, there is the option to operate the system in cable, wireless or quartz mode with up to six timed programmes, as well as with a weekend programme. It is wired as an open ring main from unit to unit, for which the sequence is insignificant (e.g. 1-5-4-2-6-3). All eight groups can be controlled in wireless mode. A mixed form of wireless and cable operation is also possible; this can minimise assembly labour and installation costs for larger systems with up to 16 signal sensors. In quartz mode, the data is transferred with only a single time module, which is plugged successively into all lamps. With wireless and cable connection, you can select between five different response types to the traffic with the traffic control option, in addition to fixed time control. In addition, all additional options as described for the COM/FV type apply.
